ODEI is designed as a local‑first, privacy‑by‑default system: we minimize data collection, keep computation close to you, and give you meaningful control.

• Content You Provide. Notes, tasks, files, goals, and other inputs you store in ODEI. This generally remains on‑device unless you enable sync.
• Connected Integrations. With your permission we may access calendars, email, files, or other services strictly as needed to deliver requested features. You can disconnect at any time.
• Device & Usage Metadata. Limited diagnostics (e.g., app version, performance) to keep the Service reliable. Analytics are anonymized/aggregated and off by default unless you opt in.
• Payments. If you purchase a plan, payment is processed by a PCI‑compliant provider. We never store full card numbers.

• AI Providers. If you enable cloud models, prompts/outputs may be processed by the selected provider solely to fulfill your request.

• Business Transfers. In a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, we’ll continue to protect your data and notify you of choices.

Retention

• User‑controlled. You can delete content at any time from device and, if enabled, from cloud sync.
• Diagnostics. Minimal logs kept only as long as necessary (typically up to 30 days) to ensure reliability and security.
• Legal. We may retain certain records to comply with obligations or resolve disputes.

Security

• Encryption. TLS in transit; encryption at rest for cloud data; end‑to‑end for Private Vault.
